The ENVIRONMENT

Taking care of the environment is and always will be the focus when building and operating the GFF high-speed passenger vessels. A lot of work is put into research and finding material that is both light, fire-resistant, traceable and non-allergy triggering. Green achievement is a new configuration of equipment mounted on the engines improving the combustion in the engines, saving fuel and reducing harmful exhaust with up to 95%.

GFF shredders and incinerators ashore handle garbage and waste from the vessels, reducing the waste to a minimum. Low water consumption lavatories onboard and in ports use 90% less water than traditional toilets. All GFF high-speed vessels have HEPA filters installed onboard, capturing 99.9% of particulates “flying” and thereby reducing the spreading of airborne virus and bacteria.
